I once saw that on a popular blog about customizing your desktop to your hearts' content. Its free btw but I'm wondering if somebody else tried this out because i only have 512mb of physical ram.

Seen them over lifehacker.com. There is even a spiderman desktop that has dialog bubbles to be replaced with monitoring your system resources. The only other program that works well with it is objectdock where you can get the fuctionality of a osX's desktop.

For that, the best is WinCustomize. It is a website that provides content for users to customize Microsoft Windows. The site hosts thousands of skins, themes, icons, wallpapers, and other graphical content to modify the Windows graphical user interface. There are some premium or paid content , however the vast majority of the content is free for users to download.
I don't think WinCustomize supports Windows 7 just yet, at least not all the components, but they'll be 100% compatible soon, I am sure. Check it out: http://www.wincustomize.com/ |

Yep, objectdock is a product of Wincustomize. Samurize will be free forever unlike wincustomize. I had a download cap of 20 mb there too.

Wincustomize has it all but needs money. I need something free, i might just opt for samurize when i get the proper system ram it needs.
